Don't let it Snow!

Geesh! We are getting at least eight more inches of snow today! I am really getting tired of it. I love snow, but good grief......enough already. None of it has melted over the last two weeks.....it just keeps piling up.

Sorry to vent!

Come on spring!!

Owls......My New Addiction!

My daughter used to collect owls when she was a little girl. She had some beauties!

All the sudden I am HOOKED!

I found this awesome green metal owl at a thrift store. It has green "gem"eyes. You know I had to buy that one!

I have this little family near my kitchen sink.

Now you know what comes next...right? I have to come up with an owl pattern and cut out a piece of plywood. I see a big, beautiful jewelry owl in my future!

How exciting!

Let it Snow!

We are expecting close to a foot of snow here in central Ohio today! Great weekend to be snowed in. Maybe I will actually get some art or jewelry....or purses......or something done!

Bad part, I have to do a two day "prep" for a colonoscopy Monday.....yikes!

I have been dreading it for awhile now. I guess maybe being snowed in will help.

Hope you all have a great weekend, snow or not!

Love Puzzle Necklace

Perfect terminology......"love" on a puzzle piece!

Copper Heart "Love" Necklace

This is just a simple copper heart that says it all....."love".

Pink Collage Heart Necklace

This is how I started doing my jewelry collages many, many years ago. I used to make pins like this. I decided it was time to make another one...only a necklace.

Vintage jewelry and beads were used along with the pink leather cording.

Steampunk Gone Mild

I had the base for the piece for about 15 years. I originally was going to make a pin. I found it again, and thought it would make a great necklace. Old copper piece from bracelet, watch parts and an old snap and key!
