I have to have knee surgery next week, and I am anticipating some boring down time.

I don't know about where you guys are, but I am SOOOOO sick of winter here in Ohio. We seem to get five inches of snow every few days. It is getting really old!

Ok guys. Her is one of my 1.00 foot stools I got at a thrift store. I am debating on using a felted wool sweater to cover it, or an awesome lime green vintage robe. All items bought at thrift store.

I will try to post the robe and sweater tomorrow. Tell me what you think.

The top of this comes off for storage.

I am trying to thaw out here in Ohio. It is going to get up to 38 today! Whoohooo! Maybe my brain will start working again somewhere along the way!

Design Funk

I have had the design blahs. I need to snap out of it. I think this deep freeze weather in Ohio has frozen my brain.

I can get tons of ideas, but that is where it ends. I am stuck.

Big thaw in the weather in the next few days. Maybe my brain will thaw, too. Let's hope!

Starting Anew

It has been months and months since I have been on my own blog. Lots going on. I have had three surgeries since the end of July. I am doing well now, but it was a LONG six months. Plus during that time my brother has had to live with us. I think that will be changing soon, thankfully.

I plan to be back on here lots more. I am starting tons of new projects that I want to post and see what all you wonderful people think of.

Husband and surgery

My wonderful husband, Darren is having surgery in the morning. I think everything will be ok, but it will be some challenging food/eating/drinking issues in his recovery. It will be difficult. I hope I have the strength to help him, as he has so many times during my health issues.

Any and all good vibes and thoughts sent our way will be much appreciated.

Husband's Birthday

Well, it is the husband's birthday today. He is all of 46! Kind of makes me crazy sometimes. It keeps me on my toes, being so much older than him! I have to keep in shape.....keep the hair done...act like I am 46....not 57!
