I have come to the conclusion this week that being able to create is a delicate balance between the clutter that I just seem to need in order to create, and the chaos that seems to take over at times.
Am I the only one that way? I don't seem to be able to have a really clean surface/area to work in. I need my "things" around me. But then it can easily turn on me. I am SURROUNDED by my things! They want to overtake me.
When I have the perfect balance, all is well. I can think and move forward.....maybe even create something. Out of balance.........ick. I just sit there and look at the mess.
Please tell me I am not the only person that cannot create in a neat, tidy work space.

Must run in the family. A Zen saying goes something like this: " Out of chaos comes order, from order; chaos begins."
ReplyDeleteGreat quote! Your stuff never seems so messy, though. I have too much "little" stuff all over.
ReplyDeleteDrives me to distraction.
When I am in the middle of a creative moment, everything flies everywhere. I do clean up, and keep things reasonably organized, but not in the middle of a creative moment. (grin)
ReplyDeleteYOu seem pretty organized to me!
